EPYRU National Workshop on Youth Policy, Kyiv


The EPYRU’s national workshop, which took place on March 31-April 1 in Kyiv, involved 70 participants from government and youth organizations across Ukraine, including forty from the country’s regions. Whilst covering a broad range of youth policy issues, particular attention was given to networking and gathering and sharing information. Participants were also given information on the Council of Europe Quality Label and how this can be used to support Ukrainian Youth Centre development.

Delegates at the workshop were addressed by key speakers including Mr. Ihor Zhdanov  (Minister of Youth and Sports, Ukraine), (see picture) , Mr. Olaf Koendgen, (Executive Director of the European Youth Centre Budapest),  Mr. Arturas Malinauskas, (Expert in Development of Youth Centres and Non-Formal Education in Lithuania) and Ms. Larisa Moskalenko (National Institute of Family and Youth of Ukraine), as well as experts from the EU Delegation to Ukraine and UNDP Ukraine, and experts of the EPYRU itself.
