New EU Report Published on Youth Cooperation (2010-2018)

OSCE Launches Youth Contact Groups Project in Ukraine

 The project aims to empower young people in Ukraine to become dialogue facilitators in their country. "We believe that empowering young people to develop and implement their own initiatives to address Ukraine’s issues at this difficult time can contribute to ending this heartbreaking conflict” said the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan. 3rd Eastern Partnership Culture Congress, Lviv 4 -6 September

  The 3rd Eastern Partnership Culture Congress, held in Lviv 4 -6 September, opening was addressed at its opening by Mikheil Saakashvili, former President of Georgia and currently Governor of Odessa Oblast, Ukraine. The Congress covered the responses and initiatives of culture in the Eastern Partnership  during a period of crisis. Culture as a cohesive factor for youth was a recurring issue,

August 12 is International Youth Day!

  Today EPYRU congratulates the youth of all the Eastern Partnership on UN International Youth Day! The theme of the 2015 Day is “Youth Civic Engagement.” The engagement and participation of youth is essential to achieve sustainable human development - an idea which is at the basis of EPYRU's activities. Erasmus Mundus ELECTRA Scholarships Open to Eastern Partnership Candidates

The Erasmus Mundus project ELECTRA aims to foster the cooperation between the European Union and their Eastern Neighbouring countries to tackle environmental, energy and sustainable development issues through research, education and innovation. Application deadline is 9 September 2015. Study, research and job opportunities are available for citizens of European Union and nationals from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarusia, Georgia and Ukraine. ELECTRA focuses on specific research and study fields like there are environment information management systems, resource and waste management, renewable energy, land use management and biodiversity. Belarus triumphs in EPYRU informal competition for enhancing policy mainstreaming
